It is never too late to dream. As always Song Kang was exceptional as Lee Chae Rok and the fact that he trained in order to dance for the role really showed. Each movement and piece of choreography was beguiling and the cinematography captured every moment of grace. Lee Chae Rok and Shim Deok Chool not only help eachother but change the lives of those around them. The unlikely friendship that blossoms between the two is incredibly touching and the moments where dance is used to bring Deok Chool out of his episodes of altzimer's delirium, were truly beautiful. Ballet is the instrument that ties together this tear-evoking slice of life. Every time Chae Rok soared and guided Deok Chool in his own journey to the stage our heart soars with them. We come to understand and care for every character and multiple stories are explored. If you enjoyed beautiful series such as 'Move To Heaven' that anthropomorphize incredible stories that uplift and empower with their messages, then this is definitely one for your MUST WATCHLIST. Let 'Navillera' show you that it is never too late to find your own way of soaring. - Synopsis: A 70-year-old man with a dream and a 23-year-old man with a gift lift each other out of harsh realities and rise to the challenges of becoming ballet dancers. - Rating: - GENRE: Life. Friendship. Dance. Family. - Where can I watch this? Xing Fei really throws herself into any role she is given and despite the slightly questionable science fiction element both Allen Ren (Gu Chuan) and Xing Fei (Xiao Ning) were brilliant in their roles. If you compare the chemistry I would say that Xing Fei's pairing with Daddi Tang in 'My Little Happiness' is more swoon evoking and in comparison this is a sweet and emotive love story. There is an underlying serious tone to the story but it is perfectly balanced with lots of light-hearted and romantic moments. You will cry but all comes to a happy ending that transcends your usual relationship Gu Chuan and Xiao Ning's love is one that doesn't need intemacy in the classical sense to verify their affections. Sadly, as this is a Cdrama of 36 episodes we do get the stereotypical 'breakup' but it is handled well and it is in keeping with Gu Chuan's character. It is not just placed there for a dramatic plot point, it makes sense and they overcome the problem promptly. The plot may be fanciful but the acting was topnotch and everything down to the soundtrack brilliantly rounded off the series. It is not the best Cdrama I have watched this year but I enjoyed every moment of it so it is a sweet romance to watch to escape reality. - Synopsis: After a life-threatening accident Gu Chuan's life is one of minimal emotions and a pending death sentence but everything changes when the clumsy and optimistic Jiang Xiao Ning crashes into his life. Will Xiao Ning be able to light up the darkness Gu Chuan has chosen to live in? - Rating: - GENRE: Romance. Science Fiction. Work. - Where can I watch this? The bromance between Jo In-chang and Ri Joon-pyeong brought a lighthearted tone to the film. Despite all the destruction going on throughout the film the overall tone was jovial. This is a story about a group of unlikely individuals who try to save the day based on one scientist's gamble. It is ludicrous but that makes it no less enjoyable. Who doesn't enjoy a disaster film... - Synopsis: Stagnant since 1903, at an elevation of 2,744 m, a volcano erupts on the mythical and majestic Baekdu Mountain. - Rating: - GENRE: Action.
