This is a very romantic series with a science fiction twist that lacks plausibility but doesn't make it any less enjoyable.

Xing Fei really throws herself into any role she is given and despite the slightly questionable science fiction element both Allen Ren (Gu Chuan) and Xing Fei (Xiao Ning) were brilliant in their roles. If you compare the chemistry I would say that Xing Fei's pairing with Daddi Tang in 'My Little Happiness' is more swoon evoking and in comparison this is a sweet and emotive love story.

There is an underlying serious tone to the story but it is perfectly balanced with lots of light-hearted and romantic moments. You will cry but all comes to a happy ending that transcends your usual relationship Gu Chuan and Xiao Ning's love is one that doesn't need intemacy in the classical sense to verify their affections.

Sadly, as this is a Cdrama of 36 episodes we do get the stereotypical 'breakup' but it is handled well and it is in keeping with Gu Chuan's character. It is not just placed there for a dramatic plot point, it makes sense and they overcome the problem promptly.

The plot may be fanciful but the acting was topnotch and everything down to the soundtrack brilliantly rounded off the series. It is not the best Cdrama I have watched this year but I enjoyed every moment of it so it is a sweet romance to watch to escape reality.
