This is a very natural continuation from season one, following the slightly unconventional relationship between Ren and Haru.
I enjoyed watching their relationship mature but there were so many episodes where Haru plays it all off as a normal familial bond. Honestly, for the older member of the pair he really is the least intelligent and aware of his sexuality.
Compared to the first series the lead pair are more mature so it is not as uncomfortable to watch but I do feel as though there were some moments needlessly sexulaised.
One big positive is how accepting the surrounding characters are of the relationship between Ren and Haru. This is not a series where characters dismiss others affections due to twisted beliefs, they just encourage their happiness in whatever form that may take.
It is alright as a series and I can see why others rate it highly, but I still found their difference in maturity and age a little unsettling at times. We are also left on a cliffhanger so I am curious about whether they will produce a third series...
