"Life brought rewards, but no lasting peace or satisfaction."

This is a very moving film about the journey of the athlete Dan Millman. Based on a true story it is haled as inspirational and I could not agree more.

"A warrior does not give up what he loves. He finds the love in what he does."

It uses slightly surreal dynamics with deep focus sound which envelopes you into Dan's immediate universe. It has a 'Fight Club' esk feel that makes it incredibly interesting to watch. It is the sort of film that will mean different things to different viewers but it is that which makes it special.

"You will never be better in the same way you will never be worse than anybody else."

You will be left with questions but that is the whole point; life is filled with unanswerable questions.

If you want to watch a biographical sports film with a difference then this is definitely one to watch.

Synopsis:
