We are given a window into the hard work that goes into creating and publishing each book and the comical love story is a pleasent bonus. The romance between Zhou Chuan and.l Chu Li is very pure. They do suffer from some misunderstandings before they realise their mutual feelings but once they are together they mature and face their problems together. I will agree with some viewers opinions that Esther Yu (Chu Li) voice is a little irritating at times but that doesn't detract too much from her strong and intelligent character. We are given a driven young woman who uses her intelligence and caring heart to overcome obstacles but she also knows when to ask for help. Paired with the bubbly and proficient female lead is Zhou Chuan who has a sharp tongue and immaturity behind his public persona of a genius author. Honestly Zhou Chuan is such a fool in love at times but it is endearing and shows great contrast to his professional side. He knows how to navigate the writing industry but also always values the feelings of Chu Li above his own. They are definitely a pair that learn and grow together and their character development is obvious. Aside from the core duo we also have an interesting second lead pairing so the episodes balance the romance to work ratio very well. This is another 36 episode series that succeeded in maintaining the pace and I found it an enjoyable watch. It is not the best Cdrama I have watched this year but it is definitely one to add to your MUST WATCHLIST. - Synopsis: After graduating university with a major in financing, Chu Li successfully enters her dream company, Yuan Yue Publishing House.
