This is a film that is purely about the musical journey of Ji Hoon, who suffers with psychological barriers that prevent him from being able to sing in front of people but aspires to sing. When his path crosses with the washed-up former hit producer, Min Soo, they sign a contract for ten gigs.

The musical complications and the way each track is brought to life reminded me of how a music video comes together. This is a dynamic film filled with endless 'music videos' amougst some agsty emotional moments as Ji Hoon comes to term with his stage fright.

You are left wanting more and it is a bit slow in pace but I really enjoyed this film and it gave me a lot of admiration for Chanyeol, he is incredibly talented.

Take a chance on this and perhaps 'The Box' will inspire you to break free from your own personal confines. Break your box!
