I can completely understand why this series is held is such high regard in the Chinese drama world. Based on a true story it is a very realistic romance where each character is given depth and enough screen time.
The jumps in time would usually be irritating but the way they were put together really worked for this series. My one critique is on the strange foggy effect on the scenes. However, despite its strange editing it still manages to flow.
Although I cannot critise it, from a personal perspective I didn't find myself as enthralled with the story. That being said it is a series which many love so it should be in your WATCHLIST.
Synopsis:
Before confessions can be made they are separated by differing financial circumstances but when they are brought back together will they finally get to be together. Enjoy watching the intermingled timeline of the leading pair as they bring to life a true story of love.
