It is an Arabic historical series dating back to the reign of Selim I of the Ottoman Empire and Tuman Bay II of the Mamluk Sultanate. kingdoms of fire episode 1.
The series depicts events that took place between Egypt, Syria and the Ottoman Empire between the 15th and 16th centuries. It demonstrates the rivalry between the Mamluks and the Ottomans over control of the Middle East, through the emergence of two main characters, the last Sultan of Cairo Mamluk II Tuman Bay and the Sultan of Istanbul Selim I.
The series is produced by Genomidia Studios with a budget of 40 40 million, funded by the government of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, and supported and filmed in Tunisia.
